Lovely in Lavender Block of the Month

We have another wonderful Block of the Month starting in June! Join us for "Lovely in Lavendar" on Saturday, June 8th at either 11:30 am or 1:30 pm. This is a six-month program and will be held on the second Saturday of the month (June-November).

The fabric for this quilt is stunning! Come into our shop to see the lovely table runner that we have made out of these purple and black pansy fabrics. The quilt will contain 12 unique blocks, as well as setting squares and borders.

A few of the details: 

    • Date: Starts June 8, 2013
    • Continues for 6 months on every 2nd Saturday of the month.
    • Sign-up: $30 includes pattern
    • 6 Month Program ($40/mo.)
    • Finished Size: 90"x110"  
    • Skill Level: Beginner-Intermediate

Each month we will demo how we constructed the blocks and hand out the kits. If you attend our demonstration and arrive on time, you will receive a $5 store credit to spend that day - or save them up for later! You are able to pick up the monthly kits anytime after the 2nd Saturday of the month.

This will be LIMITED ENROLLMENT. We hope you'll join us! If you have questions or would like to get signed up today, please call us at the shop (435) 674-2500. This project is also available for MAIL ORDER for our customers not living in Southern Utah.

Peppermint Place Block of the Month

You are going to love our newest Block of the Month at Quilted Works. "Peppermint Place" is a beautiful applique sampler quilt that will start Monday, June 10, 2013 and will run for 6 months. This quilt is perfect for the Christmas season and starting it early will assure you a fun new quilt in time for the Holidays!

"Peppermint Place" has five personality filled birdhouses! There's "St. Nick's Nest" with a Santa hat for the roof! "Snowbirds Welcome" has an ice skating Penguin with paper clips for skates. "Sweet Tweets" is so yummy! There's even presents & a gift of Bird Seed under the "Pine Tree Perch" birdhouse! You will have a smile on your face while making this quilt!

Skill Level: INTERMEDIATE with limited enrollment.

Fabric Line: Christmas Classics and Seasons Greetings by Maywood Studios.

Sign Up: $40 includes pattern

Monthly Fee: $20 includes fabric packs to complete that month's section of the quilt and the accessory/button kit for finishing the quilt.

New Fabric: Nested Owls

Whoooo's ready to see a darling new line of fabric? ADORNit has just released a darling new line of fabric! Nested Owls is available in two color-ways that you're going to love!

First is the Nested Owls in CORAL and turquoise version...so girly and fun...

The owl prints are so cute. Mixed with classic dots and chevrons, they are sure to be made into something adorable!

The second Nested Owls color-way is called "Charcoal." The colors are jewel toned - red, blue, gold. All stunning together!

New Fabric: Glimma

Lotta Jansdotter has come out with another fabulous line of fabric for Windham Fabrics. "Glimma" is in our shop now and it is gorgeous! The colors are soft, but stunning, and the prints are very unique! Glimma is filled with lovely and saturated colors, emerald green and warm orange. You will also find sweet and calming pastels. It all mixes and matches nicely.
