Triangle Trips

Triangle Trips is one of our all time favorite quilting patterns. It is such a simple quilt, but comes out looking so elegant. The pattern is created by simply sewing half square triangles for the middle and smaller squares for the outer border.

This Triangle Trips Quilt was made using the Woolies flannel fabrics in black, beige and red. Woolies Fabric looks like wool, feels like wool, yet sews and washes like cotton with no scratchy wool itch. There are many subtle prints like herringbones, plaids, tweeds and many more.The colors are just stunning together! We have kits available in the red-black pattern and in blue-green-brown patterns.

Triange Trips is a Fat Quarter Friendly quilt. The finished quilt size is 84.5" x 84.5".

Quilting is Not Just a GIRL Thing!

We had the great experience of having McKinley in our store the other day. He (yes HE) is a new quilter! He has discovered his love for sewing, thanks to his local 4-H group. McKinley has already successfully made a bag and pajama pants. His next project is making a pieced quilt!

McKinley instantly fell in love with this Minkee fabric and can't wait to use if for the backing on his finished quilt project.

Shar shared some great quilting tips with McKinley. He's very excited to get his quilt finished, and We can't wait for him to come back and show us his finished project!

This is our newest Quilted Works Model, Shelby. Isn't she beautiful?

Shelby and Her Grandma were in our shop the other day shopping for fabrics to make a new skirt. They found these beautiful black and white prints and made a scrappy-strip skirt. They also added the cutest red flower that they created using Ric-Rac...isn't that so creative?

After a quick wardrobe change, Shelby came out modeling the second dress that Grandma had made for her... Such a darling dress made with the Lila Tueller pattern "London Dress".

Next on their list is a darling dress using the "Chelsea" fabric line by Whistler Studios of Windham Fabrics. We can't wait to see the finished product!

Saturday, June 11 is BLOCK of the MONTH

Sweet Pea Daydream
